Neuhaus, B. (2013). 5. Kinorhyncha (= Echinodera). In: Schmidt-Rhaesa, A. (Ed.), Handbook of Zoology, Gastrotricha, Cycloneuralia and Gnathifera, Volume 1: Nematomorpha, Priapulida, Kinorhyncha, Loricifera. Walter de Gruyter, Berlin,. pp. 181-348. (look up in IMIS[details]
All Kinorhyncha belong to meiobenthos and show a size of 0.13-1.04 mm as known currently (Neuhaus, 2013,); 0.1-1.5 mm would probably cover also all future descriptions of Kinorhyncha in general (pers. comm. Birger Neuhaus). - The qualitative body size of taxa below phylum level is inherited from Kinorhyncha. It means that an order, family, genus, or species falls in principal in this body size range; the size range is not meant as an individual measurement of that taxon.
