This paper is usually cited as published in 1905. However, the “Bulletin de la Société Zoologique de France” for 1905, in which the paper was published, included a report of a session of December 26th, 1905, i.e., at the very end of 1905. Martyn E.Y. Low (National University of Singapore) investigated the issue and concluded that the Bulletin was published in January 1906
