Status Although Pleijel placed Orseis as an Ophiodromus (now Oxydromus) he placed the type species Orseis pulla as a nomen dubium....  
Status Although Pleijel placed Orseis as an Ophiodromus (now Oxydromus) he placed the type species Orseis pulla as a nomen dubium. No actual Orseis species was placed as an Ophiodromus/Oxydromus. Two former Orseis species are valid in other genera, the others are here treated as ' taxon inquirendum' as they are misidentified but their true placement is unknown. [details]
