Diagnosis "Über 30 Borstensegmente und vier präanale borstenlose Segmente (bei kleinen Exemplaren letzte noch fehlend). Gut entwickelte Kopfplatte mit Säumen. Nuchalgruben gerade, parallel. 1. - 3. Borstensegment mit 1-3 etwas reduzierten "Normalhaken" (mit Scheitelzähnen, aber ohne Subrastralhaare). Hintere Haken zahlreicher, mit Scheitelzähnen und paarigem. Fächer von Subrostralhaaren. Pygid mit Ring von Cirren, von denen eine medioventrale länger; Anus auf radiär gefältetem Konus mit einer ventralen Valve. Drüsenringe auf vorderen Segmenten vorhanden. Die neue Gattung steht der Gattung Praxillella Verrill nahe und unterscheidet sich von ihr hauptsächlich durch die viel größere Segmentzahl."
