Additional information From a 2004 paper on its finding in Turkey: “Two hydrophilid species (water beetles) are described as new to the Turkish fauna: Anacaena lutescens (Stephens, 1829) and Cercyon littoralis (Gyllenhal, 1808). Both were found at high altitudes in the Black Sea region.” If it occurs at high altitudes, it is not limited to seashores. Comment Dr. J.H. Frank. [details]Unreviewed
