The polychaetes of the cruise 68/1 of FRV "Walther Herwig" to Elephant Island (Antarctica) in 1985. Pt. 2: Acrocirridae to Sabellidae. – The present paper deals with 12 families of polychaetes collected during the voyage of FRV "Walther Herwig" from February 21 to 27, 1985. 57 species were found; 52 were already known, 2 species were described as new species:
Streblosoma variouncinatum and
Oriopsis pulchra. 3 species could not be determined to species level. 45 of the 52 known species were already recorded by "Polarstern" cruise ANT III/2 (Hartmann-Schröder & Rosenfeldt, 1989). 14 of the 52 known species are endemic in Antarctica, the biggest group in distribution.
