Homonymy Fauveliopsis brevis Hartman, 1967 became a secondary homonym to Fauveliopsis brevis (Hartman, 1965). Hartman (1971) fixed this homonymy by renaming the 1967 species as Fauveliopsis brevipodus. This renaming became no longer necessary 29 years later when Brada brevis (as Fauveliopsis brevis (Hartman, 1965) was moved to a new genus, Laubieriopsis, by Petersen (2000) [details]
