Tiaricodon coerules (Hydrozoa, Anthomedusae) was collected from Xiamen Harbour. The external morphology from the early embryonic stage to primary hydranth, and developmental time and size of each larval stage as well as the process of settlement and metamorphosis of the planulae larvae were described and illustrated in detail. These results were discussed in the end.
