Diagnosis Test ovate in outline, chambers one-half coil in length, early stage quinqueloculine, later stage pseudotriloculine with only three chambers visible from the exterior; wall calcareous, imperforate, porcelaneous, with outer agglutinated cover; aperture terminal and may be slightly produced on the final chamber, circular to elliptical, bordered by a nonagglutinated porcelaneous lip and with a simple to bifid tooth.
