Axiokebuita millsi, n. g., n. sp., (Scalibregmatidae) is described from slope depths off eastern Canada. The new genus, a member of the maggot-like subgroup, has a prostomium with lateral processes, lacks branchiae, aciculae, and furcate setae, and bears post-setal lamellae on at least some segments. Axiokebuita millsi bears post-setal lamellae on all segments and possesses papilliform notopodial post-setal lamellae. Kebuita minuta Hartman, 1967 is included in the new genus; it differs from A. millsi in lacking notopodial postsetal lamellae.
