Description
1. Cryodraco antarcticus, Dollo, 1900. Antarctische Oceaan.
Amerikaans kwadrant (Weddell kwadrant): 71o18' S. en 88o02' W. – Diepte: 450 meter. – Zandhoudend slib en erratische rotsen (terrigene sedimenten van het continentaal plateau van Antarctica). – Temperatuur: 0,3oC. – 18 mei 1898. – Faubert IV, getrokken door het pakijs in drift. – Een enkel exemplaar gevangen. – Totale lengte: 0,20 m. – In leven: "doorschijnend, kleurloos, met enkele weggedraaide grijs-zwarte transversale stroken, een beetje donkerder op de kop; buik, zwart." – Type specimen: museum van Brussel.
