In preparation of the manuscript of the Ulotrichineae (Ulotrichales, Chlorophyceae) for the compendia "Susswasserflora von Mitteleuropa" and "Die Binnengewasser", some new species and several nomenclatorical changes have to be accepted, i.e. one new family (Koliellaceae), six new species (
Stichococcus filiformis,
Gloeotila subtilis,
G. sestonica,
G. longicellularis,
Geminella longispira,
G. spirochroma) and 10 new combinations within the genera
Koliella HINDAK,
Stichococcus NAG.,
Gloeotila KUTZ. and
Klebsormidium SILVA et al. New taxa are documented by drawings and their taxonomy is discussed.
