Nemerteans of the genus Oerstedia and six allied genera are isolated to new subfamilies: Oerstediinae subfam. n. with the genera Oerstedia, Oerstediella, Paroerstedia, and Friedrichia (tribe Oerstediini), Obuergia (tribe Obuergeriini), Antarctonemertes (tribe Antarctonemertini), and Divannelinae subfam. n. with the genus Divanella. The new subgenera Paroerstediella (genus Oerstediella) and Kurilonemertes (Antarctonemertes) are recognized. Oerstediella zebra sp. n. and O. valentinae sp. n. from Peter the Great Bay (the Sea of Japan), O. verae sp. n. from the coastal waters of Iturup Island (Kurile Island), and Friedrichia leopardina sp. n. from the Davis Sea are described.
