Diagnosis Test small, circular in outline, biconvex, trochospiral in the early stage, later becoming bi-involute and nearly planispiral, nine to ten chambers in the final whorl, sutures curved back at the periphery, depressed, periphery rounded; wall calcareous, optically radial, thin, finely perforate, surface smooth; aperture a narrow interiomarginal slit extending to the top of the gently curved apertural face and tending to slant toward one face of the test, bordered by a narrow rim.
