Diagnosis Test elongate, rounded in section, triserial, early chambers closely appressed, later ones inflated, relatively higher and more loosely triserial, sutures distinct, depressed, somewhat oblique; wall calcareous, perforate, surface with longitudinal platy costae or striae; aperture terminal, produced on a neck and bordered with a phialine lip, provided internally with a hemicylindrical toothplate that may bear a winglike projection at one side and that connects the aperture and previous foramen.
