Type species as Nereis viridis Linnaeus 1767 a subsequent designation by Bergström (1914:123) fide Pleijel (1991:241). Note that Bergström appears to misspell 'viridis' as 'virides' and 'virens' in part of his synonymy, but this may have been intentional. [details]

In the IRMNG database, Eulalia Savigny 1822 is homonym in zoology to Eulalia Meigen, 1800 (Insecta, Diptera), but it is there recorded that the latter is unavailable as in a work suppressed by ICZN Opinion 678. In botany there is also a Eulalia Kunth, 1829 in Poaceae ((Plantae-Magnoliophyta-Liliopsida-Poales-Poaceae) [details]

Type species Savigny (1822) included Nereis viridis and Nereis maculata (now in Phyllodoce). Type species as Nereis viridis Linnaeus 1767 a subsequent designation by Bergström (1914:123) fide Pleijel (1991:241). Note that Bergström appears to misspell 'viridis' as 'virides' and 'virens' in part of his synonymy, but this may have been intentional. [details]
